Where is the VIN on a Yamaha TTR-50?

The vin Number can be located in 2 places. 1) At the side of the frame where the forks clamp into the yokes. (Turn the handle bars to the right & then look at the frame between the gas tank & the forks on the left). 2) On the left hand side of the engine.

Should be on the right hand side by where you put your foot (on the tunnel).

Yamaha places its VIN on the left hand side on the lower part of the frame by the footpad. There should be 17 digit code stamped into the frame.
