Both models are 1999 year models. 10 black Speed Triples and 10 red Daytonas were utilised in training and film scenes for the movie. This year represented also the first year that the Daytona model was referred to as "955" instead of "595" when first released in 1997. The black Triumph (Speed Triple), also featured (in earlier model years) in the first MATRIX movie, ridden away from the office block by the female character Trinity.
