turn key to start position, put bike in neutral, ( one position up from first gear), neutral light should light and push start button. If engine is cold pull out choke cable on left side.
Many ATVs have two ways to start the motor. The easiest, most convenient method of starting is electric start. To do this, turn the key on, push the on/off button to the run position and finally push the start button. If the motor is cold, then the choke may need to be opened. The other way to start an ATV is with a pull cord with which most quads are equipped. The procedure begins exactly the same as with electric start, turn on the key and push on/off switch to the run position. The difference here is instead of pushing the start button, pull the starting cord. My experience is that it is a little harder to start with the cord, but it works in a pinch.
