There -high mileage- oils that can improve the way your car is run. Some brands that do this are Valvoline and Castrol.
i just put a whole bottle of 7th gear chaincase oil itslike 16 oz but if your picky its like 9 but chaincases arent to picky you can run atf or gear oil with no problems but i like chaincase oil myself
yes you can mix oil brands. it is not recommended to do though. As long as the weight of the oil is the same.

Oil doesn't run cars it lubricates engines. Cars run on gasoline which is refined from oil.
You can use any oil as long as it's snowmobile oil, it dosent matter if it's arctic cat oil or Polaris oil, it's the SAME

None really, they just lubricate. Since diesels have slightly higher internal pressures, the may recommend "stronger" oils for diesels, but that's mainly a sales ploy. And, many top brands of synthetic oil - Mobil 1, Shell Helix, for example, are described as being suitable for both petrol and diesel engines.
