1950 was the first FIA F1 Championship season. Also first season to have WDC. The WDC was Giuseppe Farina with 30 points which included 3 wins.
Norman Graham Hill (15 February 1929 - 29 November 1975) was a British racing driver and two-time Formula One World Champion. He was born in Hampstead, London. He was a citizen of the United Kingdom by nationality. He drove for a team called BRM - British Racing Motors. 1962 was the only year they won the world championship but that year they won both the drivers and constructors championship.

The first ever Formula One grand prix was the 1950 British Grand Prix that was held on May 13, 1950 and was won by Nino Farina driving an Alfa Romeo Car. He qualified on Pole position, set the fastest lap and won the race. Incidentally Nina Farina won the 1950 drivers championship too.
