Austria
KTM's are made in Austria. Originally they made dirt bikes but have branched out into road bikes and even a car (KTM x-bow).
Husqvarna dirt bikes are manufactured in the company's main production facility in Mattighofen, Austria. Husqvarna Motorcycles is a subsidiary of KTM AG, which also produces KTM motorcycles at the same facility.
In 1997 the LC4 was the first KTM dirt bike to have an electric start.
an 09 ktm sx 250 is about $8,000 if its all stock
Mostly Honda's, Kawasaki's, Suzuki's, Yamaha's and KTM's
Brand wise, it is KTM. The make a wide varity of dirt bikes in both two and four strokes. They have everything from kid's bikes to enduro bikes to MX bike. They are by far the best.
They are quicker and more powerful and are like the Ferrari of the dirt bikes and are built for speed and racing and the Honda is like the Holden and Ford and is a basic dirt bike!
I think both bikes are same in power and specs. no i ment size not speed
Honda, kawasaki, yamaha, ktm, suzuki. those are the heavy hitter brands.
There not very reliable they tend to fall apart. I would prefer Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM, And Yamaha. These are the bikes that were made to last.
