In race driver grid how to add a teammate?

okay, you have to progress throughout the game then it will give you the option. I know you can get lots of them but at the moment i only have one. I think i got 100,000 respect globally or similar then it unlocked that option.

When you do team races, US, Europe and Japan are the 3 main areas. Just get to each level in each area.
So basically i did about half the races in US and it got me a new driver. Not I'm playing till i can get a better one.

So there is no option, just keep playing till a cut-scene tells you, you have a new driver.
