The formula 1 racing cars are very high power engines. During the initial stages of F1 (during the 1940s to 1950s) the engines had a power of around a 500 Hp. During the 1960's it slowly started going up and during the 1980's some cars even had a horse power of more than a 1000 Hp. This was the time when turbo chargers were allowed. During the 1990's the turbo chargers were banned and eventually the engine hp started coming down to around 600 Hp. After the year 2000 strong F1 race winning cars have produced around 900 Hp as peak performance.
Arabian horse racing is played in much the same way as any other form of horse racing.
