A Formula 1 race goes for 200 miles (300km) The maximum time allowed is 2 hours. A race is comsidered completed after this time. The only exception is the Monaco grand prix. The distance covered is only 260 km.

Completed races usually range between 1 hr 40m and 1 hr 50 min depending on the track, weather conditions and amount of laps raced behind the safety car.
