Professional races like NHRA summer nationals

Each race - warm up, burn out, staging, race = 30 - 80 sec. depending on class.

You have 3 round of practice for each of the 4 classes on thrusdays nights usually 16-30 vehicles per classes trying to make the race.

You have 3 round of qualifying for each of the 4 classes on friday usually 16-30 vehicles per classes trying to make the race.

You have 3 round of eliminaztions for each of the 4 classes on sat. 4 rounds for each class.

Final rounds on Sunday, so a whole race event runs 4 days.

Depends on the race, but most are around 200 miles on the bigger tracks and about 200 laps on the short tracks.
