"You get on a motorbike and race. The you will become a motorbike racer."
that answer was pathetic.. to be a motorcycle racer you have to be in the right place at the right time. kinda like musicians. no one just wakes up and gets signed into a major company, they work in bars or on the street or small companies and one day a huge label company sees or hears them and asks them to sign a contract. same with racing, if your racing and the right person sees you, or if know someone who races... its all about who you know, and what you can do. it doesnt mean go on the street and race though, that will get you killed and in trouble.

To follow-up on the musician analogy, there is a lot of people who plays an instrument just for a hobby and in the same matter there is a crowd of amateurs who race only for the fun and exitement.
Without such 'kindergarten' none of the race-sports would be able to find and pick the absolute talents for the top range of the sport wich is the only ones known in common.
'Motorbike racer' is a widespread term and the easiest motorbike sport to get involved with is probably motocross.
It's most possible that there is a moto-cross track (official or improviced) near to you and its simple to meet up and start asking there!
If moto-cross isn't the thing and there isn't any road-racing tracks in the near, You need to find the national motorcyclesports association on the internet and seek specific information there.
In motocross, all riders leave the starting gate at the same time. Each time you pass the finish line you are credited with one lap. uasually the top 20 or 16 at the end of a race score points
To become a pro motocross racer, you need to first start off as a C rider, or a beginner. as you work your way up you will become a B rider, then an A rider. as an A rider, you can find sponsors to sponsor you and give you money to go race in the big leagues. You might want to start off in NMA and go to races like Ponca City and Loretta Lynn's. That's where racers like Eli Tomac, Ryan Villopoto, and Travis Pastrana have started out in their careers. You have to send a letter to the AMA and they will determine whether or not you get your pro racing card.
It doesn't take much to become a motocross racer. All you need is a good dirt bike and protective gear. It doesn't matter your skill level, there are classes you can race in from beginner to pro.
I hoped this helped:)
Well, first of all you need to train hard and really want it. You have to ride from your heart and not your head. Practice makes perfect (:
You would need to do some big supercross races and if you place high enough you can get your pro license, also you can apply for one.
You need to race your local races and race organization and get in the a classes. Then you need to get your pro license and then you can race in pro classes. This still doesnt qualify you to race on tv or anything like that. You need to have sponsors and if you get good enough a team will ask you to join!
