call Ray Tucker in Greensboro N C zip 27406 he lives on Concord Church Road.

I have been and around racing for 45 years he is the best dirt driver I have seen!!!!!

I plan to contact him about him, to work with my grandson about learning to drive on dirt. ( Clint King ) who just was named the national champion for the pro challenge racing series at the age of 13 who won the championship by about 170 points he also won 11 of 17 races see web site clintking.com I fell like ray is one of the best.

Charles King ( charlesK@warehousedesign.net)

Okay haha i love this i race with Ray Tucker at County Line Raceway. In Elm City, NC. He is a real good racecar driver a very clean but fast driver.

It simple but yet again not... depending on the turns is depending on everything really... um i say setup or kick the car to the left in the turn then turn right an drive it through the best way to learn this that i know of without driving a late model or racecar is a four wheeler...

What does hot lap mean in dirt track racing?

Hot lap is a term used for a test drive. It's where they let drivers take the car on the track and see how the car and the track handle before a race. It is often only a few laps and less cars on the track at a time then during a normal race. Cars are not required to do hot laps but, it is a good idea since track conditions change all the time. By doing a test drive or "Hot Laps" before a race it allows drivers to see how the car will handle in a safer way then just making them race the car. This way they can make changes to the car before the race begins. Hot laps allows driver and crews to make the race safer and car go faster.
