What I usually do on my dirt bikes is take the fuel line that runs from the fuel petcock to the carburetors off at the carb end. I put that end into an empty gas can and then open the fuel petcock valve; at this point gravity will help with transferring the fuel from the motorcycle tank into the gas can. I usually pour the old gas into my old pickup truck; that small amount of gas will be diluted with the larger gas in the truck tank and will do no harm to the truck motor. After the fuel has stopped flowing, I put the fuel line back on the carb and fill the bike tank with fresh gas. It is that simple!
ride it until it stops running.
if you have a 4stroke dirt bike you run straight gas ,if you have a 2stroke dirt bike you run mixed gas
Flooding a dirt bike can be very frustrating. The best thing to do is just to take the plug out and wait for about 20 min. this will drain the excess gas inside the cylinder
at the botom of the dirt bike
m
go to a local dirt bike shop and explain the problem to them dirt bike stores always have mechanics to help
The carb bowl drain nut is located on the bottom of the carb.
Regular gas
Hello, Jamison here, There is a screw in the bottom of the bowl, it will be at the very bottom on the side, it will take A Philips head driver, The best thing to do is, leave gas on, remove screw, then turn gas off, let it drain completely empty, then turn gas on again, then turn gas off, let it drain again, NOW reinstall screw,,,,,,,,, It will not hurt to allow the gas to run down on the engine,, BUT! You need to allow it to dry before starting the bike.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Good luck, Jamison
bring it to the shop
