No. Generally, if not always jet engines or Gas Turbine Engines as they are called run on a diesel/kerosine type fuel. Fuel companys name jet fuel many different things, here it is mainly called JET-A1 in the commercial airline industry, it sometimes is called things like AVTUR, AVTAG and AVCAT. Although they have slightly different characteristics the composition is still primarily the same, -which is like diesel. It is possible for gas turbine engines to run on pump petrol, pump diesel and other fuels like kerosine, but usually increases wear and tear and affects performance. So JET-A1 is used. You may be getting confused with Aviation grade petrol or AVGAS, which CAN be used in Motocross bikes. It is very similar to normal pump petrol but has a much higher octane rating, and sometimes may contain lead. Also costs alot more! I run in my moto-x bike (Suzuki RM 250 '07) a 50/50 mix of pump fuel and AVGAS and it has great results PROVIDED the bike is jetted correctly and the correct fuel/oil ratio used. Hope this helps. Dan.
By dirt bike do you mean and enduro bike or a motocross bike or some other bike at all? For any bike except motocross bike you definitely need license, and for motocross bike you don't, because you can't ride it on the streets at all... You can only use it in motocross tracks and for that you need to have a special permit...
YES! How else would they stop?
You may ride a motocross bike in Endurocross events. For more info you may follow this link: http://www.endurocross.com/race_info.htm
Do you mean the chain pin. If that is the case use a chain breaker you can get them at the dealership.
Sym Jet Euro 101cc Fuel
Jet fuel is high grade diesel so a jet fuel car would use high grade diesel fuel.
Avgas, or if it has a jet engine, it would use either Jet-A1 or Jet-B fuel.
Yes, it is safe to use a fan for this. Jet fuel is not easy to ignite.
The type of fuel is specific to the type of engine, not the aircraft. Helicopters that have jet engines use jet fuel, and helicopters that have internal combustion engines use gasoline. However the General Electric T-58 had a device in the fuel control that allowed you to burn just about anything from avgas to jet fuel to kerosene.
jet fuel
Airplanes typically use aviation fuel, which is a specialized type of fuel with different grades such as Jet A and Jet A-1 for commercial aircraft, and Avgas for smaller general aviation planes. These fuels are distinct from standard gasoline or diesel used in cars.
The combustion of the jet fuel in the engine of a jet aircraft propells the craft forward when it exits the nozzles of the jet engine(s) at high speed.
