This track is a 2.5 mile track. There was 250 laps to the race in any year.

How can 250 laps times 2.5 mi/lap = 500 miles The answer should be 200 laps

doing your calculations of 250x 2.5 mi /lap would gives a total distance of 625 miles.

You would have to change the name of the race to the daytona 625
