it will take any 2 stroke oil just mix it with petrol with a ratio of 25/1
The 1987 230 was a four stroke. They had several variations including a quad sport with a manual clutch. They were very strong quads, I regretted parting with mine in a trade for a king quad 4x4. I liked the lighter 230s much better. Take care.
Under the quad, at least on the 2003 and 2005 suzuki ozark 250 quad runners, it is under the quad, there is a 17mm bolt that is the only bolt accessible under the quad, take that out and it drains it.
Take the battery cables off for a few min.
how to change choke cable
semi sinthetic 2 stroke oil
To replace the connecting rod on a 1986 Suzuki LT230S Quad Sport, first, remove the engine from the frame and drain the oil. Next, take off the cylinder head and cylinder to access the crankcase. Carefully remove the old connecting rod by unbolting it from the crankshaft and piston, then install the new rod by reversing the process, ensuring proper alignment and torque specifications. Finally, reassemble the engine, reinstall it in the frame, and refill with oil before testing.
Most models take 2 Liters.

Take the washer out in the exhaust Regards, Crimpy There is also a re stricter in the intake....pull the carb...and remove resricter plug. Sniffer.
If you take off the back fenders and the rack then take the intake off then you should be able to spot a small black thing with a wire leading off of it. Thats the sensor.
take the cotter pin out of the front axel shaft then take that castle nut off and the hub should come off it might need some taping with a hammer to get it broke lose from corrossion
