at 170 i wouldn't recommend getting a 125. go with the 250f or 250 2stroke. the 125 will have to work more and seem slower to you
dont think it can be done . they are as good as they come
Haynes do suzuki dr125/gn125/gz125 (88-05) e-bay 12 pound.
To derestrict a 08 DR125, you typically need to remove or modify the airbox restrictor, adjust the exhaust system, and possibly re-map the carburetor for optimal fuel flow. Additionally, checking and replacing the CDI (capacitor discharge ignition) unit can help increase performance. Always ensure that any modifications comply with local regulations and safety standards. Consider consulting a professional mechanic for assistance to avoid damaging the bike.
To adjust the idle on a Suzuki DR125 SM, locate the idle adjustment screw, typically found on the carburetor. Start the engine and let it warm up, then turn the screw clockwise to increase the idle speed or counterclockwise to decrease it, adjusting until the engine idles smoothly without stalling. Ensure the adjustment is made while the bike is in neutral, and recheck after a short ride to confirm the idle is set correctly.
