To start your CRF 450, first ensure the bike is in neutral by checking the gear indicator or by rolling the bike slightly. Turn on the fuel valve if it has one, and then pull in the clutch lever. Use the electric start button or kick starter; for the kick start, ensure the choke is on, give it a firm kick, and release the throttle while doing so. If it doesn't start, check the kill switch and fuel supply before trying again.
