In 1997 the LC4 was the first KTM dirt bike to have an electric start.
No matter what dirt bike you are riding you will want to install the switch via the ignition coil. Obviously based on the dirt bike you will need to find a convenient place for the key switch but make sure you run it through the ignition coil. Especially if you have both a electric and kick start on your dirt bike.
im sorry there is no way to do this now except if you get an electric start for the bike but you can only get it if its a 230 cc or more Bump start it. If its too hard to bumpstart in 1st, do it in 2nd.
That depends on what you are using it for. Obviously, if you are dirt biking, you should use a dirt bike, and otherwise use a street bike. Start out with what you are going to use the most - dirt (freestyle) or street racing.
One is able to purchase an electric dirt bike at their local sporting goods shop. Supposedly Bass Pro Shops and Gander Mountain offer great deals on electric dirt bikes.

No don't believe it would have enough torque to crank motor fast enough to start
Some do, some don't. I have one that is kick start only and one that is electric start that has a battery for the starter.

To make an electric dirt bike go faster it is simplest to buy a motor that can support a bigger battery and then get a bigger battery. Now you should lighten it. Also, don't be cheap, buy a dirt bike with a gasoline or diesel engine.
you can us the frame of an electric dirt bike or a real dirt bike. you can get them cheap on Craigslist with no motor an just put a lawn mower or go cart engine in it. just need a welder and some pipe.
First make sure the bike is in neutral and push kick start down on right side of the bike.
