When you need to, if you seize it or notice low compression, its time for a rebuild, otherwise ride and enjoy it. When I raced, I would usually get a whole season out of an engine, but that was abusing it for a whole year.
Take her apart and rebuild that somebitch!
Depends. If you are rebuilding the bottom end . Wiesco has a bottom end rebuild kit . I dont know how much . But if you are rebuilding just the top end . You can find top end rebuild kits for pretty low . About 90 dollars.
Resleeved,New piston, rings, wrist pin, Valve springs and seals
rebuild top end (NEW RINGS, MAYBE PISTON, AND HONE OR BORE CYLINDER)
Well, that depends on how much it is ridden. Or if it is raced? My son's Blaster for racing we rebuild it as needed. At end of every season.
the yz125 would win has more top end power and pull
I have a 2007 Yamaha TTR125L, and i am currently looking for Front forks for my bike also. A YZ125 front fork with triple clamps and all "should" fit all models of the TTR125, im hoping atleast. If your thinking of Re-doing the front end, the YZ125 is the best Choice. "NOTE" you will need a modified rear shock to balance out the setup of the front suspension or the bike will be unstable. YZ85 is to small, and YZ250 is probably to big. To be safe getting the front redone, install a stiffer shock(not just the spring) the whole shock, must be atleast 45% stiffer atleast!! Or take the bike to a shop, and get the rear shock redone, and modified for about $150 tops. Having a soft saggy rear setup with a stiffer MX style front is not safe!!!!
If there the same year it should fit.
yes
