The best place to purchase a Yamaha would be at the actual dealer. You can test drive the motorcycle before purchasing. You can also check classified ads or online stores.

how do i adjust the chain on a Suzuki 230 quad runner
Their is no adjustment for the front chain. That's probably why it is so big and not a roller chain. If it is super sloppy and needs to be replaced, a dealer replacement (if available) is probably expensive. Most people just replace them with roller chain (#520?) and compatible sprockets. Check E-Bay. {There is a one time adjustment on the front chain which is the primary chain, the book calls for a O-ring chain. Go to the Yamaha shop and print off the drive chain slack adjustment page and it tells you step by step, you probally don't have the tool so use a punch or make one}
you have a bolt that goes across the top of the rear axle housing and a bolt that goes across the bottom section of the axle carrier, I believe one side is a 14mm and the other side is a 17mm you have to loosen both of those, then there will be 2 long bolts sticking straight back when you are looking at the back of the axle, you have to loosen the 2 nuts at the base of those bolts so you can tighten or loosen the 2 long bolts to loosen or tighten your chain, that will be what adjusts the chain. Be very carefull to not strip any of the bolt heads! Good luck! __________________
undo pinch bolts, rotate cam clockwise (that's the big housing that the axle runs through) and tighten pinch bolts again. Its not a cam its called the carrier and you would turn towards the front of the ATV to tighting, still allow the chain to have some slack 3/4 inch
It is chain drive.
A chain and sprockets.
yes the v star is just as strong as many other bikes it can pull a trailor the drive shaft is stronger than any belt or drive chain the shaft is the only way to go hassle free.
To tighten a loose drive belt, find the pully that is connected to the belt. Tighten the pully and then hold the belt in place using the adjuster belt. Check out the related video to see an example of how this is done.
