As you are sitting on the bike, there is an idle adjustment screw on the left hand side of the carb about 1/3 of the way up on the slide. Turning the screw counterclockwise will slow the idle speed down on your bike and turning it clockwise will increase your idle speed ...Good luck
To bring the idle down on a Yamaha badger is really easy. All you have to do is adjust the fuel settings on the carburetor.
To set the idle, adjust the carburetor.
The Yamaha Raider does not have a idle adjustment based on the fact it has no carbs. It is fuel injected and auto adjusts based on the temperature and fuel delivery.
there is a little screw on the back of the carb. if you loosen it, it will idle slower, tighten it, it will idle faster.

On the side of the carb.
I suspect that the carburetors need a good cleaning. It is not uncommon with the Yamaha, especially the quick start models, to have a reasonably good idle with gummed up carbs.

To set the engine idle on a 2003 Yamaha 1200 XLT WaveRunner, first, ensure the watercraft is on a stable surface and the engine is warmed up. Locate the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body, usually marked with a "+" and "-" sign. Turn the screw clockwise to raise the idle speed and counterclockwise to lower it, making small adjustments while checking the engine's RPM with a tachometer. After adjustments, test the idle by starting the engine and ensuring it holds a steady RPM.
