In order for a bike to start it must have 3 things,
AIR The easiest is checking to make sure the air filter is clean and that there are no obstructions between airbox and carb.
FUEL Dump the old gas and add a gallon of fresh gas. Next pull your fuel line off of carb and turn petcock on to ensure you have gas going into the carb. It wouldn't hurt to pull the carb off and give it a good cleaning at this point. Be sure to pull your main and idle jets out and clean them and make sure you can blow through them before reassembling.
SPARK Check the spark at the plug. If there is no spark, check your plug cap (cheap fix) first, if that is not it go on to your stator.
