You can teach teach them the value of sportmanship and teamwork.

Not only that, but you really have a chance to make an impact in a kids life. It's a great feeling when you know that you bettered one of your kids' lives through coaching and mentoring.

I agree with this. I have been a youth coach for 6 years, and one of the greatest benefits is helping these young athletes grow into responsible young men and women. We get a chance to teach them responsibility, discipline, comraderie, and the value of truly giving your best effort.

Many of us are dad coaches, but that doesn't mean we have to be bad coaches! There are many great youth coaching resources available to help you be the best youth coach you can be!
