if yourankle hurt
I doesn't for me go see a doctor ...
You should ice the ankle immediately. Ice ankle in 15 to 20 minute intervals. There will likely be swelling and bruising to the ankle. This is common. See you doctor.
If your foot pops with every step you take and you have a sprained ankle, you need to see a doctor. You may have a broken bone that needs to be reset before it heals up. An orthopaedic doctor should be able to help you.
ligimant damage see your local doctor
if i was a doctor, then yes. It would be best to see a physician for that:)
This type of pain is called Ankle Sprain. This is the most common and the most relevant to this topic. This is typically normal but you will need to see a doctor if you are unable to walk.
I am not a doctor, but one swollen ankle is often an injury. Two swollen ankles can mean congestive heart failure. It is serious and you should see your doctor as soon as possible.
The only way you can tell if you have sprained an ankle is to go to the emergency room and see a doctor. I would stay off the injured ankle until you find out the results.
There's no need to be "worried" per se, however it would be best to see your GP/family doctor, just in case anything else is going on with the foot. Since it is 3 weeks since the original injury, and it has not quite "healed" yet, it would be perfectly justified to see a doctor. However if you had done something to the foot, after you thought the original injury had healed (say, "played football the day before, then your foot swelled up and was painful"), you probably just need to rest the foot for quite a while longer.
Example sentence - He went to see the doctor to find out if his swollen ankle was broken.
Could be a lot of bad things. Time to see the doctor.
If you are worried that you may have broken our ankle go see your doctor, so that x-rays can be done on your ankle. Otherwise I have a couple of sites you can check out about sprained ankles www.webmd.com/fitness.../ankle-injuries-causes-and-treatments.
