Factors in income include being on retainer by a company, charging aprox. $150 an hour for client services, taking law suit cases where the attorney works for the potential to receive a third of whatever amount his client is awarded (assuming he wins). Corporate lawyers probably make more money than trial lawyers. A good lawyer could easily make in excess of $250K a year. That may even be low. Unfortunately, if you ask, I doubt a lawyer is going to give you that information!
