The Makki Training Academy was co-founded in 2004 by Sam and Erin Makki in response to a growing need in the area for high level sports performance training. The Academy is for athletes wanting to train to compete at their highest level. We sponsor and train many indoor soccer teams throughout the year and organize soccer training camps. Many high school and club teams call on the Makki Training Academy to train their teams during and in the off season. In January 2009, the Makki Training Academy opened the Mini-Makki Training Academy and starts training players at 5 years old.

Profile of Sam Makki:

Sam played professional soccer for almost 12 years in Europe and Asia. He was the leading scorer for nearly 8 years...what they would call in Michigan, the MVP of the team. After an injury stopped Sam from playing professionally, he started to coach in Scotland for a second division professional team. Sam also trained several under-21 teams and some of those players that he trained are now playing in the European professional leagues. Since coming to the United States in 1999, Sam has coached various club and high school teams.
