While white spirits can be used to remove old grip tape and residue from golf clubs, it is not recommended to use them for installing new golf grips. Using a gripping solvent specifically designed for golf grips will provide better adhesion and help extend the life of the grips.

Golf grip tape is currently a generic product. There are many manufacturers of double sided sided tape. It is simply a way of attaching a golf grip to a golf club.
To repair a torn carpet, gather some heat-activated carpet tape, a seam iron and a utility knife. Lift up the edges of the rip in the carpet, remove the old carpet tape, and apply a length of new carpet tape. Use the seam iron to activate the adhesive and mend the carpet tear.
It is not recommended to tape carpet on stairs. There is a double sided carpet tape available but, generally used on some floor installations. A couple hundred dollar investment can get a professional to install it correctly with power staples.
if you cant replace them then you can use white tape its not the same but is a lot better then no grips at all
Double sided carpet tape works by having adhesive on both sides that sticks to both the carpet and the floor surface. It creates a strong bond between the two surfaces, preventing the carpet from shifting or moving. The tape is easy to apply and provides a secure hold for carpets in place.
If you're laying a fully fitted carpet, neither. If however it is rug, then realistically, either will do, but there's no real guarantee of their effectiveness.
The double sided tape will keep the carpet down, but not for long. The best thing to use is to turn to the use of specialized carpet glue.
Warm the tape with a hair dryer or heat gun. When the adhesive is warm it comes off easier.

You go get sized. Everything from you swing path, height, stance, etc will affect the clubs you need. Callaway have a great system for analyzing what clubs you should have. This includes the face size, weight, shaft length, head angle, everything you need to know. Some bigger golf stores have similar systems, but they are very accurate. It may cost some money to be fitted, but usually they take that out of the cost of the clubs. Good luck.
