I don't know either BUT I have an old blade putter with his name engraved on it, but no manufacturer. It's from the 1930's or 1940's, I'd estimate, as the grip was longer than the modern grip (and has been replaced with a modern grip, exposing unplated steel on the shaft).

Me 3. I have a Johnny Sabat putter that is quite nice and puts a nice roll on the ball. Mine is a flanged blade, a little thinner than a Wilson 8802. On the sole, it has Johnny Sabat stamped in a nice script typeface. To the left of the signature is a crown stamp. The sweet spot is frosted chrome. It has a black ferrule with a single red stripe. A nice original brown Golf Pride grip, that has a ridge that runs up the underside to fit the fingers nicely. I'd estimate my putter from the 40's or 50's. Can't find anything else on the golfer Johnny Sabat. I have no clue who is the maker.
