Who pays for the subs bowling?

Usually the team will cover all substitutes costs and when the player that is absent returns he/she will reimburse the team.

That is the usual case.

But, if the substitute ends up playing more than anticipated it can be possible for the sub to replace the absent player full time and then pay for his/her own costs.
