there is not only school Cheerleading but competitive cheerleading as well. there are what we competitive cheerleaders call gyms. gyms all focused on cheerleading- cheerleading gyms! these gyms you can take tumbling lessons at and also be on a team that competes at reginal and national competitions. in the dallas, tx area there are gyms such as EXCITE, SPIRIT OF Texas, CHAMPION CHEER, SPIRIT XTREME, PRO SPIRIT, ect. but after all of these names is the word allstars. every gym that competes has the name but at the end of the name is allstars.
EX..... Ultimate Cheerleading Allstars (most likely not a real cheerleading gym)
these teams are usually pretty expensive and it takes a lot of comitment. sometimes up to 4 or 5 times a week- the gyms that take that much comitment are usually the gyms that win! if ur daughter joins you'll pay for uniforms which can be up to $300 but usually around $200, extra clothes u can spend about $150, and shoes u'll pay about $200 because of course her feet will grow and her shoes will get worn out!
SORRY THIS WAS SO LONG BUT I TRIED TO MAKE IT SHORT= HOPE IT HELPED YOU OUT!
-actually its around $3000 dollars if you go to a winning gym. plus the cost of uniform and shoes. ($600) so if your really commited its expensive.

If you want to get into gymnastics, ask a parent or adult to sign you up in a gymnasium that is near your neighborhood.
If you really think you like gymnastics or would like to try it. Just google your town for places to take Gymnastics and you should have places come up. Then sign up and try it out. I took gymnastics for a few years and I still love it today, but you do have to have some talent at it or it can be difficult, but it's always good to try it out! Good luck!
