The ABC has a ring ready for the first bowler to throw 3 sanctioned 300 games in a row. It has not been given out yet.
My response:
As of November 20, 2009, the USBC (ABC is now part of USBC) has awarded 15 sanctioned 900 series (there are six other non-sanctioned) since 1895. The 15th was bowled on 11/20/2009 by Andrew Teall using the Roto Grip Cell Bowling ball. The series was bowled at Medford Lanes in New Jersey.
To answer the above question: Only two sanctioned 900 series have been bowled by the same person, 18 years of age from Carthage, NY, Robert Mushtare. He also bowled a third, but it was disallowed by the USBC.
