You would have two halfs of a Golf ball. Golf balls used to be made with a wound core which meant hundreds of elastic bands were wrapped around the core. This is no more, there are simply 2-3 layers of elastic compounds.

This is something you should never do because cuting a golf ball in half could infact make the planet explode.

If a person were to pull apart a regulation golf ball to see what was inside, they might be surprised by what was found. Inside of a golf ball is made of synthetic rubber, with the outside a mesh of rubber or elastic.
