When a ball is thrown or hit with a forward spin, the top of the ball rotates in the same direction as its movement, creating lift and stability as it travels through the air. This spin is commonly used in sports such as baseball, tennis, and volleyball to enhance accuracy and control of the ball's trajectory.
If the ball was thrown-in by a teammate, no. If the ball was thrown-in by an opponent, yes.
