Chris Hoy's first Olympics was the 2000 Sydney Games. He competed in the men's sprint and the team sprint events, finishing in sixth place in the individual sprint. Although he did not win a medal at this Games, it marked the beginning of his illustrious cycling career. Hoy later achieved significant success in subsequent Olympics, becoming one of Britain's most decorated athletes.
