I have Nike CCI forged irons, and want to put in my Taylormade rifle shafts which are .355 with a taper tip. Will this work?

The hosel size for Ben Hogan BH-5 irons is typically .370 inches, which is a standard taper tip size. This size allows for compatibility with various shafts that fit tapered hosels. However, it's always a good idea to verify the specific model and year, as there can be variations in specifications.
They both use 355 taper tip. You should have no problem.

The size number on a gas torch tip refers to the diameter of the orifice. A size 0 tip has a smaller orifice diameter compared to a size 15 tip. This means that a size 0 tip will produce a smaller, more concentrated flame, while a size 15 tip will produce a larger, broader flame.
This is the width of the bottom of the shaft, where it enters the hosel.

The number on old sad irons typically indicates the weight of the iron, usually measured in pounds. These numbers helped users choose the right iron based on the fabric they were ironing, as heavier irons were better for smoothing out tough wrinkles in heavier fabrics. The design and weight of sad irons varied, with some featuring a flat bottom for stability and others having a pointed tip for reaching into corners.
