No. The current ranges all have grooves that will be illegal in 2024, when the new groove rule comes in.
The groove rule does not affect amateur golfers until 2024, so the MX25s are legal for play until then. However, they are not legal on professional tours.
I have those exact irons..O-size is oversized sweet spot..the white dot designation denotes a 3 degree upright lie angle and is for one who has a very upright swing..ie. a tall person..these are very forgiving clubs as the oversized sweet spot helps on strikes that are not in the middle of the club.. great clubs..but they are now about 10-12 yrs old...probable the grooves on the irons are worn and would need to be sharpened..if not already done so..I bought mine brand new..and just this year re-condiotioned the grooves..paying more attention to the wedges..
From the start of the 2010 season, Golfers on the professional tours had to have clubs with conforming grooves in their bag. The rule is simple, the grooves must be v shaped, and not u shaped. U shaped grooves give a lot more spin, therefore the governing bodies wanted to put a premium on driving and stop players getting crazy spin out of thick rough. The new wedges actually spin more than the old ones from the middle of the fairway, but far less to not at all from the rough. The major talking point is, Phil Mickelson and other players used a wedge with u grooves, this was the Ping eye 2 manufacturer around 1990. It allows a more lofted club to be used and give the players more control over the ball. The high lofted 62 and 64 degree wedges are virtually redundant with v grooves as the ball is unpredictable and can slide up the face. Ping had a law suit with the USGA, and the Ping eye 2 is passed for play, and so still conforms to the new rule. From 2014 high level amateur golfers will have to use v grooves and from 2024 club golfers will have to use v grooves, although these dates are subject to change.
Your rotors had the grooves before, from the old pads. You should have had them turned. Next time check rotors at time of fitting new pads. If you can see or feel grooves then they should be repaired.

Yes - you can just just irons in a round of golf. There is no rule stating you need to use a driver or fairway wood. Using irons if you are new to golf is a good way to improve your game as they can be more forgiving than woods
