The objective in Badminton is to hit the shuttle to the opponent's side of the court in a way that he/she is unable to return it. This is done by using various strokes such as net shot and smashes.

The objective is to keep the shuttlecock from hitting the floor, when you play singles when you serve the shuttle has to go over the front line of the two squares you serve right to left, when you win a point from your serve you switch sides from the left to right - right is even left is odd the back double line is in but the side lines are out, when you play doubles the back line is out but the side lines are in if you hit the net when you serve but it still goes over and lands in your opponents box the point stands but if it falls short of that person's box you lose the serve and your partner serves if you are playing doubles if they lose the point then the other player serves each person get's one serve unless they win a point from their serve then the keep playing, if it gets to a tie you play a tie breaker if you're eager just one point if not 3 points. It is a fun game I play it 3 days a week (try to) and great exercise.
