In my opinion, there is no certain age, but , let`s say you started with 13, you need to go o the gym every day play almost every day, do private sessions, join holidays camps and what else you consider good. It doesn`t matter the time you`ve been playing if you do not train that much. If you`ve ever heard of a player ,who was #1 in the world, he is brasilian, GUSTAVO KUERTEN, gustavo started playing tennis at the age of 13 and could still make #1 in the world, so DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!
