Basically golf is played all year round. There are people known as 'Fair weather golfers' who only play in the good weather. The spring and summer are obviously the best seasons to play in.
They play golf and complain about the weather, just like everybody else.
On the professional golf tours competitions get cancelled if, the course is unplayable due to weather (water lying etc), heavy rain, high winds or threat of lightening. Then the players may get to play later that day or the next day. In amateur competition the weather does have to be very rough for the competition committee to call play off. Obviously if there is lightening it is too dangerous to play golf.
Some people are fair weather golfers, they'll only play in perfect conditions, but real golfers play in any weather as they like the game and the additional challenge. I live in Northern Ireland, if I waited for the sun to be splitting the heavens and not even a touch of wind then i'd be lucky to get to play at all.
To dress to play golf a comfortable cotton golf shirt can be worn. Trousers should also be comfortable and the length should only come to the top of the shoes.
they only know if they are monitoring you.
Only in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
Yes, but some places always have nice weather, so you can play all year round.
I play golf because it is fun.
It is a golf links if the course is near the sea. Otherwise it is a golf course if further inland.
How to Play Golf was created in 1944.
