A game consists of a player winning 4 points. If a player wins all the points in a game, the scoring looks like this; 15, then 30, then 40, then game. So there are at least 6 games in a set. Then there are sometimes 2 sometimes 3 sometimes 4 sets in a match. So, a player who played a perfect 3 set match with no points won by his opponent, would win a total of 72 points.

"Game, set, and match" is the term for the final point scored in a tennis match. It's effectively a shorthand for saying "that point ends the game, that game ends the set, and that set ends the match."
Tennis games can be played on a variety of surfaces. The most common type is a hardcourt surface made out of material like asphalt or concrete. Other material surfaces include grass, clay, even carpet.
Tennis Scoring: A series of points add up to make tennis games, a series of games add up to make tennis sets, and a series of sets add up to make a tennis match.
