A JN9 Golf cart is a hybrid manufactured in Japan. The Engine is the same and a G-22. The rear end, brakes shifter, etc are from a G2 or G-9. All have an electric safety brake. When the Gas pedal is depressed, a solenoid activates, which releases an electric lock which is attached to the rear end housing. This prevents roll-aways. All of these models have seating for 4 people facing forward. For Cost savings, when you play in Japan, a foursome gets 1 cart! Engine, frame, and steering can be replaced with parts available in the US. The windshield, top, and seats are not available. The Carburetor has an automatic choke and is not available, but internal rebuild kits will work. Same models have a remote starter and the capability to follow and buried sensor that will control the steering when no one is on board. IE Remote start the vehicle in the maintenance shed and have it follow a path to the bag loading. (Sensors are built in the front bumper and if it contacts anything, it will stop.)
