The Clemson University Athletics Department offers a variety of sports to their students. The sports include Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Baseball. The games are often open to the public.
Clemson University is a member of the NCAA Division I as well as a member in the Atlantic Division of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Clemson Tigers are a collection of athletic teams that compete in such sports as athletics, football, baseball, golf and basketball. They represent Clemson University and introduced their Tiger Paw logo in July 1970.
As of spring 2013, Clemson fields varsity teams for men in baseball and football, for women in volleyball, rowing, and diving; and teams for both genders in basketball, tennis, soccer, golf, track and field (indoor and outdoor squads), and cross-country events. Rugby is also offered, though only on a club level (not for intercollegiate competition).
