it is always good in Badminton to say simple things like well done and unlucky, it is called court etiquacy. Also it is good to say sorry when you smash if the shot hit their body. At the end of the match it is considered bad sportsmanship to not shake hands with your opponent. You should shake hands and congratulate him. hope his helps!!! qwerty-man

Tennis has since its creation been a gentlemens game and during a match the player is usually responsible for making calls on whether the opponents shot is out. So sportsmanship has to be stressed in order to have a fair match without a line judge. However, when there is a line judge like in pro matches it is very common to see a player loose his cool just watch a repeat of almost any John McEnroe match
