Probably not too much on the FIRST day. But some things you will be learning at the beginner level are:

for bars: back hip circles, pullovers

beam: walking in releve (on your tiptoes) forward and backward

vault: straight jumps, dive rolls onto a mat

floor: forward/backward rolls, cartwheels

Before every practice my coach has us do our warm-up routine. And all you do is jog in place, and march. Then, you stretch pretty much everything. To warm-up you just do anything that makes you loosen up! I hope this helped! =] We run ten laps, stretch, and the warm up basic tumbling skills, such as forward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels.

I know what we do cause I've been a cheerleader for almost 7 years now. They start with arm motions, then go to the routine or start teach you the routine. Also see if you are able to do stunts. P.S I'm only 11 so top that and I've gone to nationals 3 times. if you have anymore questions ask them here

usually the other team member names, you'll work on jumps, maybe a fight song or some band dances, and simple stunts. You'll condition too, most likely. most first days aren't too bad.
