Well...... You need many things for gymnastics. As far as accessories go you need grips, pony tail holders, leotards, and more. When it comes to skills you need basics, such as cartwheels, round-offs, and more. The most important thing however, is attitude. You need a positive attitude, great expressions, hope, and perseverance. You can't give up.
Well, it depends if it's men or women's gymnastics, artistic or rythmic. In women's artistic gymanstics you need a balance beam, uneven parallel bars, a vaulting table and a runway, and a floor.
You also need mats if you want to live. There are 8-inchers, 4-inchers, 16-inchers and more. Also you need a springboard in order to do vault.
Men need a vault, floor, parallel bars, pommel horse, rings and a single high bar. Plus mats of all sorts.
In rythmic gymnastics, you need a ball (I don't know what the specifications are for that), a ribbon, a hoop (it's not your average hula hoop, it's a special kind), and I think that's it. Rythmic gymnasts compete on a floor which is bigger than an artistic gymnasts'.
Most artistic gyms have a variety of other mats, cheesemats, resi pits, etc. You can also have low beams, middle beams, floor bars, tramp bars, leg-lift bars, a tumble trak, rod floor, trampoline, double mini, strap bars, padded beams, floor beams, a "U-mat" and many more. Also I don't know if this counts as equipment but you definitely need CHALK. It will save your life! You need lots of it, not just for bars but for all the events. It helps you keep your grip, especially since gymnasts get sweaty, a lot, trust me, I know. I use chalk practically on everything, especially beam.
Basically you need a lot of equipment to safely achieve the art of gymnastics. :)
It depends on what you mean by "need".
If you want to know what type of clothing you need, its quite simple. All you really need is a pair of shorts and a leotard(most likely more than one of each). Depending on your level you may need things like grips or even tape.
If you are just starting gymnastics, then skill wise you don't really need any. As long as you are brave enough to try some of the more complicated things that may come your way. It may seem hard at first but it is worth it!
Okay so first you don't "play" gymnastics you do it. Second if your an adult you can't. Third you need to be incredibly devoted and willing to not have very much of a life if you want to be on team. Fourth you need to be really strong and powerful with allot of grace when you need it and you need to be able to stand pain. Fifth you need grips, well you don't need them but it really really helps to have them. Other things like leotards, lots of money (if you want to be on team.) Hair ties, braces if you are hurt. I probably just scared you out of it but it is really fun but also hard and competitive. And a really good way to make friends. I am a level seven and I love it I would give it a try if you're young and willing. Have fun!
In gymnastics you will need to have an experiment for gymnastics when you are doing a research
Yes you do need a leotard for gymnastics though I'm not sure why.
No.
We need to know them simply because we can't step into the advanced positions in gymnastics.
Yes, gymnastics does use force. Force is actually one of the most importan requirements in gymnastics. You need force to push up into a handstand, you need force to kick over in a backbend, you need force to push off the ground when you rebound, you need force for alot of things in gymnastics.
