Skew lines are lines that do not intersect and are not parallel, typically found in three-dimensional space. They exist in different planes, meaning that no matter how far they are extended, they will never meet. An example of skew lines can be visualized as the edges of a cube that are not in the same plane, such as one edge on the top face and another on the bottom face.
