The most forgiving irons are those which have very 'chunky' heads, you should look for something along the lines of Callway and even Ping are very good. The idea of the forgiving clubs is that they have a low c.o.g and are easily able to get the ball up in the air. Clubs like hybrids are very easy to hit, and you can even get a full set of irons like this, they are called the Cleveland Hi-Bore.

The easiest Ping irons to hit are the Rapture V2's, these are known as super game improvement irons. Although, the G15s are very easy to hit, and even the I15s are easy to hit and also very workable which the better player would look for.

in my opinion it is Callaway X-22 Irons set.i have got it from firstrankgolf.com for only £179.99 and i am quite satisfied with the clubs now.
