1. Less likely to develope Arthritis in your fingers due to strengthening by pinching the floor in handstands
2. Flexilibty will help prevent you from potential injuries due to strain
3. You gain a lot of strength and balance and boy do you learn patience
Cons
1. Potential nerve damage which is really the worst worst worst case scenario (has happened to me)
2. Fainting and seizing if you don't breath properly (which luckily hasn't happened to me but is pretty common)
3. And waking up sore every morning
