I have used both babolat rackets, both have pluses and minuses. The Aeropro brings much more spin for players looking for more topspin; it is also very good for volleying at angles. For baseline players this racket would be very good, except that it lacks a little bit in the category of power. The Pure Drive on the other hand is a great racket for power, but lacks in spin. But for players looking for more power from the baseline the Pure Drive would be better. Such as the Aeropro volleying is fairly easy, but I have found out that for players who do not have much control on their volleys, it may be tough because of the power this racket generates. The cortex system really gives a good feel when you hit the ball, which both rackets contain. They also both contain woofer technology. Overall, the Aeropro allows you to hit more spin from the baseline, while the pure drive gives you more power. I would recommend the Aeropro although. But if you do not like the comfort of the cortex, then you could go for the Aeropro without cortex, which I also own and is one of my favorite racquets. Both are great rackets, and it matters on what kind of player you are.
I'm sure lots of people do, but I'm guessing that you wanted to know about pro tennis players. A couple of examples include Andy Roddick of the USA, who uses a Pure Drive Roddick GT and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland, who uses the Pure Drive Lite.
I can't think of 10 different ones, but I can give my top 4, which are the Aeropro Drive GT, used by Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki, the Pure Drive GT used by Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters, the Pure Storm, used by Dinara Safina, and the Contact Tour, which is the one I use!
Novak Djokovic plays with the YouTek Speedpro made by HEAD. It has not yet been realesed.
Even i have to choose same choice as you when my Wilson ncode nblade break. I get to choose pure drive or k pro open. Eventually pure drive hav lots of power and feeling + 27.5inch length while k pro open which i actually own offers more comfort with length of 27 inch of course. My advise is you better choose what racquet length u used to cause even 1cm +/- it will effect serve & ground stroke cause if you didnt consider that aspect you will endup like me LOSING the match cause new set of racquet.... + playing with racquet length u used to gonna 1 Step up ur game good luck bro ^-^
Agnieszka, who made it to the 2012 Wimbledon finals, uses Babolat tennis racquets and equipment; specifically the Pure Drive Lite GT with Pro Hurricane Blue 130/16 and VS 130/16 strings, with a Pro Tour White over grip.
